New 26t Anti-Skid Imprint Vehicle for Markon
Markon have recently purchased a new 26t High Friction Surfacing Anti-Skid
Imprint vehicle with automatic transmission and diesel boilers.
This new vehicle has the versatility of being utilised for both disciplines and
also meets all environmental requirements to work inside the clean air zones
within the UK.
We are thrilled that our chosen charity for
this year is Charlie House.
Charlie House was founded in 2011 with the goal
of improving quality of life for babies, children and
young people in the North East of Scotland who
have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, to
provide support for them and their families.
“We believe that every child should receive a
smooth transition from hospital to home,
practical and emotional support for themselves
and their family, access to inclusive activities,
help to live life to the full and make memories for
the whole family to treasure.”
More detail on fundraising for this very worthy
cause will be forthcoming as detail is 昀椀nalised.

We have invested in a New Sandvik Jaw
Crusher for our Mobile Crushing Division
This is a tracked Primary Jaw Crusher which is the largest in the Sandvik
Q-Range and the flagship of the series. It is one of the best-selling track
mounted mobile jaw crushers in the world today, designed for quick set-up and
ease of operation, with a powerful and reliable jaw for maximum performance.
Hydraulic drive enables the crusher to start under load, maximising uptime with
a 1200mm x 750mm jaw opening for maximum throughput. Latest emissions
are compliant due to a Stage V engine for reduced emissions, and optitooth
jaw plates for reduced CO2 per tonne crushed, with a 15% fuel saving.
Bruce Gillon is the proud operator of the new plant which has produced
over 180,000 tonnes year to date.
